That little device that follows you around.
You spend the whole day typing and you never put it down.
Look up, look up stop looking at the screen.
There’s a real wide world around you that you’ve never seen.
So many apps, so many friends posting pictures everyday.
Hooked on every trend, you never take a break.
If you’re running out of battery your life is gonna end.
Mind control, it’s a drug.
Mind control, smartphone.
It brings distraction, isolation
from the real issues of this nation.
Worried about the number of likes,
never outdoors, always online,
social media wasting your life.
Will you ever realize?
It’s time to wake up from this.
It’s time to disconnect.
It’s up to you, what will you choose?
Free soul or...
Mind control, it’s a drug.
Mind control, smartphone.
I'm listening to "Delirium" right now (on the turntable), and both this record and that one vibrate my whole being, sending every internal organ into the depths of heavy sensual space. A scrim of deep fuzz ornamented by Indian subcontinent flourishes, extended treble trips - a perfect mix of psych, stoner-doom, classic Sabbath-y metal with hints of harmonic guitars prefiguring 80s metal but retaining the best of a 60s-70s vibe...in short, this band is epic. jaxers
I love the desert and I've never had the pleasure of listening to something else that made me feel so strongly like I was in Arizona again. God tier album, god tier desert. Poop Metal Enjoyer
iI you love old-school, riff-centered doom metal, and your heart yearns for grand tales of adventure, it's about time you gave Lord Mountain a listen!! Excellent lead guitar and rythm section! Stephan
