On my own for the first time,
chasing freedom and strength.
Must forget what I’ve learnt
to remember myself.
Breaking all the chains
that surround my chest and veins.
Breathing new air as I escape my day to day,
Because it’s easier to stay
when you are used to obey
I escape from lies, control and fear
that arise from society.
I escape from misery.
I’m escaping from my enemy.
Now I can see I was living a lie,
embracing a fate that was not mine.
I’m raging against the owners of my life,
recovering sight.
I was their money-making machine,
but now my soul is back
and I wake up
and I wake up
I escape from lies, control and fear
that arise from society.
I escape from misery.
I’m escaping from my enemy.
I'm listening to "Delirium" right now (on the turntable), and both this record and that one vibrate my whole being, sending every internal organ into the depths of heavy sensual space. A scrim of deep fuzz ornamented by Indian subcontinent flourishes, extended treble trips - a perfect mix of psych, stoner-doom, classic Sabbath-y metal with hints of harmonic guitars prefiguring 80s metal but retaining the best of a 60s-70s vibe...in short, this band is epic. jaxers
I love the desert and I've never had the pleasure of listening to something else that made me feel so strongly like I was in Arizona again. God tier album, god tier desert. Poop Metal Enjoyer
iI you love old-school, riff-centered doom metal, and your heart yearns for grand tales of adventure, it's about time you gave Lord Mountain a listen!! Excellent lead guitar and rythm section! Stephan
